Renewed Grace will work with cohorts of congregational teams to learn more about neurodiversity and to transform their worship practices. Congregations of all sizes and locations throughout Grace Presbytery are invited to apply to participate in a cohort.

When selecting congregations to participate, we will look for congregations motivated to become inclusive congregations because they sense that God calls them to embrace neurodivergent children and their families. They will also exhibit a willingness to learn from others and their mistakes. For some congregations, the work of this project will be aspirational and completed with the hope that they will craft an environment that allows neurodivergent children to participate in worship, even if they have no known neurodivergent children currently participating in worship. We also expect to recruit congregations who have already begun the work of being inclusive and are ready to move beyond inclusion to justice for disabled children.
